what it means
A drawn-out version of "goddamn", shouted rather than said. It has drifted into general-purpose shock, and among younger users it is often used with no sexual meaning at all.

A contraction of "goddamn" in AAVE, amplified by streamers — particularly YouTube and Twitch reaction clips — around 2022.
It became one of the defining brainrot words of 2023, endlessly repeated in Gen Alpha slang compilations alongside "skibidi" and "rizz". That saturation drained the original meaning for younger users, who often use it as a generic exclamation.
